While We Plan Our Eid Menu, Families Across the World are Starving.
Over 18 months of siege, bombardment, and blockade have dismantled every system that kept people alive in Gaza—food supply chains, hospitals, water infrastructure. Today, more than 1 in 3 Gazans face catastrophic hunger. Children are passing away every hour because of malnutrition.
In Shaam and Yemen too, families are equally devastated—if not more. Every sunrise serves as a reminder of hardship, instability and insecurity.
And with Eid approaching, there is no feast.
In fact, for many, there is nothing at all.

“We risked everything, just to find a bit of food. And we came back with nothing.”
Basma described days that pass with nothing to eat. Severely malnourished, she can no longer breastfeed her infant son, he sips water from a bottle instead of formula. She stretches what little lentils remain by adding water. Her children grow dizzy from hunger.
“If this continues,” she said, “one of us might die.”
The Prophet (SAW) told us: “He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbour is hungry.”

29 sacrificial cows. 92 sacrificial sheep. 19,310 people fed across four of the world’s most devastated regions.
Yemen: 738 people received fresh Qurbani meat during Eid, in a country where over 17 million people face food insecurity.
Sudanese refugees in Chad and Tanzania: 1,247 displaced people, many of whom fled conflict with nothing, shared in the blessing of Eid through your sacrifice.
Gaza: 12,675 people received distributed canned beef — the largest single share of your Qurbani, going to the people who needed it most.
Shaam: 4,650 people in war-impacted communities received Qurbani meat, many celebrating Eid in displacement camps far from their homes.
