In Islam, caring for an orphan is a command from Allah. A responsibility. A sign of true faith.
Throughout the Qur’an, Allah reminds us – 23 times – that caring for orphans is a marker of righteousness, of sincerity, of the kind of heart He loves.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The one who looks after a widow or a poor person is like a Mujahid (warrior) who fights for Allah’s Cause, or like him who performs prayers all the night and fasts all the day.” Sahih al-Bukhari 5353

1. Which areas are you supporting orphans in?
We are currently supporting orphans in Gaza (Gaza City, Deir Balah, Nuseirat, Al Mawasi) and Northern Sham where there is a high concentration of displaced children. Locations may shift depending on conditions on the ground.
2. What type of support do the children and their families receive?
We provide cash assistance, food aid, clean water, shelter for families without homes, and educational support to help children continue learning.
3. How is financial aid delivered?
Cash aid: Directly to the orphan’s legal guardian or head of household by our vetted SGI field team—no intermediaries.
Specialized services (e.g., medical care): Through vetted local partners with formal agreements to ensure quality and accountability.
4. How do families in Gaza receive funds if banks aren’t working?
We use a secure digital transfer system via PalPay, linked to the Bank of Palestine. Funds go directly into the guardian’s digital wallet, ensuring quick, traceable, and safe delivery.
5. Do you use bank transfers or other methods?
Gaza: Primarily PalPay digital wallet and vouchers for goods.
Sham: Funds are sent via vetted Turkish partners, using either official bank transfers or direct cash delivery with signed receipts.
6. How do you make sure the right family receives the aid?
We use a strict verification process that includes ID checks, signed receipts, photos/videos (with consent), and regular monitoring visits.
7. Do you work with local partners?
In Gaza, aid is distributed only by SGI’s in-house field team for maximum oversight. In Sham, we work with vetted long-standing local professionals to guarantee that aid is delivered securely.
8. Are there any fees?
Gaza: Up to 15% for direct delivery costs (logistics, secure transfers) + 8–10% administrative fee.
Sham: Standard 8% administrative fee.
These ensure safe, compliant, and effective delivery in challenging environments.
9. Can I see the impact of my donation?
Yes! We share photos, videos, and beneficiary stories through our media archive and social media channels. This lets you see exactly how your support is changing lives.
10. What is your goal for this campaign?
By the end of 2025, we aim to secure sponsorships for 1,000 more orphans across Gaza and Sham.
11. Will I receive updates?
Absolutely. We post regular updates, field reports, and impact stories on Facebook, Instagram, and X so you can follow your impact in real time.
